I was there early for the 7:30 performance to secure a good seat the evening of Jan. 30. The venue was small and intimate. I thoroughly enjoyed these artists. There were four of them, the guitarist, the singer, a male and a female dancer. The show was made up of a solo from each artist. The dancers only danced as a couple for a few minutes at the very end when photos were allowed. I couldn’t believe the male dancer actually stole the show. He was brilliant in both style and techniques. The guitarist too, a most outstanding musician. Just seeing those two performed would have worth the price of the ticket. Bravo!

I recently attended the flamenco show and it was amazing! The guitarist played the most beautiful solo that he moved my friend to tears. Not to mention the amazing dancers. The owner of this establishment brings flamenco musicians and dancers from all over Spain, thus the shows are always changing (and spectacular). The other thing that I love about it is that it is in the city and very accesable. Don't miss it!

I was amazed and blown away by the performance, by an incredible ability to improvise music and dance in a full harmony with the others! I artists are doing it
The singer and guitarist are alone an amazing tandem and musicians but dancers are the next level. Incredible work.

A wonderful Flamenco performance, truly great and surprisingly entertaining.
Lot's of variation within the show which keeps you intrigued from the first minute it starts!
Go a little bit earlier to assure your seat!

I've lived in Spain for two years and have travelled to Granada several times, and I have been to some of those 'tourist trap' tablaos for flamenco.
Casa del Arte Flamenco is NOT a tourist trap. Authentic flamenco by experts, full of passion for the art of flamenco. I had so much fun here and it was an experience that I will never forget. Great prices too! I highly recommend this place!

I must say that having lived in Spain many years, I have seen many exceptional flamenco performances so I am quite a bit more demanding when it comes to flamenco than your average tourist. I went with two friends who wanted to see live flamenco, both of whom were very impressed with the show (they are both fans of flamenco, but have not seen much before). I however found that the singer could barely be heard, and I couldn't make out the lyrics (I speak fluent Spanish) - he should have had a microphone. The dancers were rather showy for my tastes, very fast-paced and strong, but lacking in some subltleties. Also I noticed some moments when they were out of compas with the guitarist. My other complaint was that the room stank of stale cigarette smoke - it was obvious that the performers (or someone) had been smoking in the room before the performance - for me this was quite annoying and the smell gave me a headache. In sum, if you haven't seen much flamenco before, you will probably enjoy it, but if you have, try to search out a more professional performance aimed at locals and not at tourists.

If you are interested in seeing classy Flamenco without the touristy aspects and without having to pay for an expensive, menu turistico dinner, then this performance will delight. Three artists perform segments obviously themed around specific flamenco dance aspects. The first is a deeply emotional and achingly sad rendition, followed by progressively more uplifting and accessible performances. I only wish I knew more about the stories behind this wonderful performance, and my only criticism is that they could have talked us through it more. That said, the intimate setting and proximity of the performers to the audience assures maximum dramatic effect. The minor gripes about lack of side curtains, uncomfortable seating from other reviewers make me wonder whether those reviewers really wanted to be there. Huge thanks to the performers on the night we went -Dance: Lucia Guarnido Singer: Alfredo Tejada and Guitarist: Rafael Habichuela. Lucia was stunning, This one hour show which was great value at €15 each. A Great night as we reflected on the performance at a nearby tapas bar, perfecto!

All artists are very good. No photo allowed during the show but at the end 5 minutes are saved for the pics. The day we went in , a family with 2 young babies were allowed to attend and the children were noisy and disturbing. I dont understand why the Casa del Arte let very young kids enter the romm.

An hour of fabulous song, dance and Flamenco guitar by acknowledged professionals. This show was special. Unlike some dinner and show combinations we saw this was an hour of memorising art without the distraction of staff and customers moving about. The show was held in an intimate patio theatre. It was an intense and moving spectacle.
It was exceptional value for money.

We were on a short over night visit to Granada, primarily to visit the Alhambra Palace.
Prior to our visit, my wife had tried to book a show at the Casa Del Arte Flamenco, but for some reason we could not do it over the website.
Anyway, on our way out to dinner, my wife spotted a poster for the show and we booked tickets in a little shop on the Plaza Nueva, the gentleman even left his shop and pointed us to the street where the building is located, which is two minutes off the Plaza Nueva.
The venue is very small and only seats a maximum of 70 people per show, the stage is tiny and the seats are small wooden and not the most comfortable.
The show lasts exactly one hour and is truly out standing.
Apparently the performers change on a regular basis but I assume the format is the same.
The show starts with a Flamenco guitarist and a traditional singer, both of whom displayed great talent and emotion.
Then the singer and guitarist move to the side of the stage, and you will know why when you visit.
The lady dancer ( Luia Guarnido Al Baile ) comes on, joined by a young man who taps and claps in time to the music, her presence and dancing is superb and she brought tears to my wife,s eyes.
Her first dance ended with rapturous applause. Both the lady dancer and the foot tapping young man left the stage and there was another song accompanied by the guitarist.
Then the fun began, the lady returned to the stage and took the place of the foot tapping, clapping man ( Adrian Sancher -Bailaor ) who also returned to the stage as the main dancer.
I am not a dancing aficionado, but Mr Sancher-Baiaor is nothing short of world class and mixes traditional flamenco with a slightly modern twist. We have seen some of the worlds leading male flamenco dancers in a show in Barcelona two years ago and none of them were a patch on Mr Sancher-Bailaor.
His speed and timing was immaculate and he had everyone enthralled. His three dances ended in a standing ovation.
There was another solo dance by Lucia Guarnido Al Baile, which truly surpassed her first dance, then both danced together.
I could not believe how quickly the hour went, it was fantastic.
There are several Flamenco shows in Granada, if you want to see one make sure it is the Casa Del Arte Flamenco, it costs 18 Euro per person and it was the best money we spent in Granada.
Mr Sancher-Bailaor will be world famous one day ( if he is not already ) and Ms Guarnido Al Baile is a master of the art.
