Plaza de la Virgen de los Reyes is a lovely square and is full of life. We were there around the middle of the day and enjoyed the beauty of the whole place. It is full of culture and history. Many buildings date back hundreds of years. There is a lot to see here. The Cathedral, the Bell Tower, the Giralda, the Convento de la Encarnación, the Palace of the Archbishop, the beautiful fountain in the middle of the square which is also Lamp Post! There are other things too and of course there are cafes and restaurants. Definitely worth spending lots of time in this area of Seville.

Unsurprisingly the vast Cathedral overshadows everything around it but the atmospheric Plaza has other attractions and monuments.
Palacio Arzobispal is a fabulous build. A mix of both Renaissance and a beautiful Baroque portico. Stepping inside is to admire a great stairway and an exceptional ceiling.
Moving out again and viewing beyond the Cathedral we saw an ornate Fuente Farola – a lovely lamppost fountain.
La Giralda is also everywhere in vision. Remarkable, as is the Cathedral with its awe inspiring interior and majestic reverence.

Plaza De Los Virgen De Los Reyes is a stunning plaza in Historico Centro Seville, the plaza is obviously dominated by the magnificent Torre Giralda and the magnificent Catedral De Sevilla but all around this plaza are great looking buildings such as Convento De La Encarnacion and Palacio Arzobispa and the centrepiece of the plaza is Fuente De La Plaza De Los Virgen De Los Reyes, a stunning fountain/ street lamp ,as you would expect there's all manner of pubs, bars, cafe's and restaurants and not surprisingly it's very busy ,its a major tourist magnet, if you're planning a holiday to Seville it's most definitely well worth checking out.

Lots of great architecture to see and plenty of bars and restaurants to dip into. Not as busy in November which made it nicer to explore

A very pleasant square located behind the Cathedral and the Giralda tower, It was created in the 18th century with the demolition of some church buildings and a hospital The fountain and street lamps in the centre of the square were added for the World's Fair, 1929 Spanish-American exhibition.

It's an ancient and nice square in the hear of Seville.
All the famous and ancient sights are few walking distance from it.
It's always crowded by tourists and locals.

We had a group of about 30 starting and re-grouping at this plaza.
Sme us were off off on own and needed a beer from a restaurant / bar up this Madrid street, "mateos Gagos".
I stopped for at least two beers along this street.
Very refreshing and needed.

This is a nice busy square in the daytime. In fact it is mayhem and most of the people are not here to look at the square.
As it is positioned behind the cathedral and the giralda, the square is a meeting point for various tour groups, or people are looking for the entrance for some place or another or maybe they just want a carriage ride.
It is more sedate in the evening where you can have a good stroll.
