The Barrio Santa Cruz used to be the Jewish quarter. The streets are narrow and form a labyrinth. It’s easy to get lost among the jasmine-scented streets… only to discover a convent or a palace or a hotel. Many of the palaces have wrought iron gates suitable for peeping into their beautiful patios. There are many small stores and some artisan shops, as well as good art galleries.

To stay, eat, walk and enjoy Sevilla. Even if you just went up barrio Santa Cruz and nowhere else you'll get te quintessential essence of Sevilla. Cobbled winding streets, shops, tapas bars and flamenco music what's not to love here? My favorite part of Sevilla!

A wonderful experience walking over ancient winding cobblestone streets, stop at an outdoor cafe in a beautiful plaza for a cava and some jamon, don't worry about exactly where you are, because eventually all roads lead back to the Cathedral. :)

Little streets lined with white houses with flowers on the windows, small squares with fountains and restaurants with tables outside. Picture perfect. The best thing to do is to walk aimlessly through the alleys, without caring about getting lost. You won't, since the quarter is...More

Be adventurous, otherwise you would miss many interesting points there. Explore the streets, take many pictures, enjoy the souvenier stores as people are nice there. Loved it!

Our hotel was at the edge of Barrio Santa Cruz, the city's ancient Jewish Quarter. We walked extensively through the district, sampling the restaurants, shops and attractions. One night we were lost for 20 minutes until finally coming upon a district map in a small...More

Just walk through the narrow alleyways and be prepared to be surprised. Comes to life only after evening. Pick your coffee shop for people watching and enjoy Flamenco with or after dinner

AS everyone else says, ask for - or look up to find the spire of - the Cathedral. Where the lanes open out onto squares there are often black-and-gold signposts, too
