We had to stand in the hot sun queuing to buy the tickets. No timed access or online purchase system. It was ok, but not as good as the Alhambra in Granada, or the palace in Cordoba. The gardens were a bit disappointing too.

Deserving of some time.. The oldest existing royal palace in Europe was built on the site of an old Moorish palace and incorporates both the mudijar arcitecture and western renaissance architecture in an eclectic mix. The decor incoporates large amounts of stylized Kufic arabic script...More

I can apperciate that this is a moorish historic building but i was disappointed. I was expecting it to be more grande, there were many other buildings nearby that were prettier. For the entrabce fee 10 euros not worth it!

It is interesting to contrast the Alcazar with the Seville Cathedral, they are entirely different but are only a few steps away from each other. The Alcazar and its gardens are beautiful. Well worth a visit if you want to see moorish architecture.

This is a world-class site to see. The building is amazing. The gardens are wonderful. It is hard to believe you are in the middle of a large city. It is like some kind of arabesque oasis in the middle of the urban desert. I...More

A pleasant afternoon to spend 2-3 hours in this beautiful palace. You can visit the several parts of it and enjoy the beautiful architecture and great design in this historical place. A must visit in Seville

Get your ticket in advance, because they do a good job of keeping it from getting too crowded within. What a beautiful space -- the architecture, gardens, and fountains. One of the most beautiful serene places I've ever been. Wonderful to linger in and absorb.

I have been numerous times to this wonderful palace with stunning gardens and never tire of it. It is small enough to feel intimate and you immediately forget you are in the middle of a busy city. The gardens and courtyards are fantastic to meander...More

Hello. Prices are 10€ for normal admission. There is a senior citizen discount if you’re over 65. Don’t remember what it was. Hope this helps.
