The pictures of this place don't really do it justice! Both the inside and the gardens of the Alcazar are truly awe inspiring. We went as it opened and enjoyed strolling around the gardens and walls virtually on our own. It was far busier once we went to look inside but the crowds were worth braving in order to see... More

I knew this royal palace was amazing but what I didn't know was the extent of the gardens that adjoin it. We spent an hour in the palace but nearly two hours walking around the gardens. Be prepared when you go, after waiting in line to get in, to head to the gardens to relax. There are pools of water,... More

This Palace has many different aspects to it, also the gardens are large and if you have kids and want to have a rest you can divert them into the maze whilst you relax. This is a must visit when in Seville. At 9 Euro's for adult entry it is great value and you can spend half a day in... More

What a gem !! History, architecture and beautiful gardens. Definitely worth the ticket. NOTE: make this your first tour of the day! Go first to register/pay for a visit to the royal / private apartments. The tours are on the half hour and fill up quickly with 15 or so participants each tour.

Beautiful!!! We loved the buildings and the grounds. We walked around for hours, could stay longer. We got lucky because the weather was beautiful and we enjoyed walking outside.

Outrageous mix of architectures, paintings, tapestries and delightful gardens...lots of history inside, very worth to see. Try to avoid the queue buying in advance or paying a little bit more for a guided visit...that's what I did.

A good place to spend about half a day. We particularly liked wandering around the garden and grounds. The building itself is interesting enough, but having seen similar places elsewhere it did not really hold me. Even in February there was a long queue, so we had to wait about 20 minutes or so. Buying tickets in advance on line... More

Top tip: pre book online! We queued up for an afternoon visit and thoroughly enjoyed it. The grounds and architecture were spectacular. Brilliant place for those interested in photography to experiment and get some incredible shots.

This is a beautiful palace with many interesting rooms. The gardens are lovely and we especially loved the tapestries. Interesting for game of thrones fans too!
