An overlooked gem deep in the heart of Santa Cruz, this is a must-see for Velazquez fans. Out of only 4 paintings by the master in Seville, 3 are found here: 2 early religious works, and an amazing Santa Rufina (which is suggested to be...More

I use the app to plan out my day, unfortunately the information on the opening hours is incorrect. I am giving TripAdvisor a low rating and not the attraction.

The Hospital de los Venerables Sacerdotes comes up on TripAdvisor as a great place to visit, and we were staying at a hotel just around one of the many corners. We planned to visit on a Monday afternoon, figuring it would be quiet while everyone...More

We stumbled across this place whilst meandering around the Jewish Quarter one evening & were so pleased we found it. There is a beautiful church & some lovely paintings, including one particularly striking Velasquez. Well worth a visit & to find such a peaceful &...More

We enjoyed this church - beautiful painted ceilings - and interested to see up close from the first floor. However, 8 euros entrance was extortionate for what you got. No guide, nothing labelled. Would be ok for a 10 minute peek if it was free...More

This was a surprisingly good find, which we came across whilst exploring the Jewish quarter. The few short steps up through the entrance doorway lead onto a delightful cloister, with a few benches that allow you to rest and take in the tranquillity of it...More

The hospital was originally opened for the poor and the clergy. It is well maintained and has a beautiful church within the hospital with extensive painting and details. The hospital has an beautiful open garden in the center. Worth a trip to see.

We had set out our itinerary but were almost too busy to come here. That would have been a mistake.A lovely peaceful place that you should not miss. Set aside an hour for this and you will not be disappointed.

To get away from the swells of tourists in Seville, go to this beautiful place (but check their hours, as they are fairly limited). It's a calming building, the Murillos and Velasquezs in the small, dark gallery are mesmerizing. Somehow just having a handful of...More

This is a small museum in a Moorish house in the Santa Cruz area, Although there is art by Murillo and a Velazquez, to me the big surprise - and a pleasing one - was the stunning small Church inside the house. Easy to miss...More

This is a smaller gallery but it contains Santa Rufina by Seville-born Velasquez amongst other highlights. Murillo is here too, and in the church, they are running a film with English sub-titles on Murillo and his importance to the city, which is worth watching. Amazing...More

I love Casa Roman. Many say it is touristy but I take all my customers there and all of enjoy. Best Jamon in Seville, Tortilla de patatas and excellent solomillo al whisky and it is right in the corner in Jamerdana street.
