At least it feels like forever. From the top you see so much of Seville that it is breathtaking. You can use the stairs or the lift. The building itself is interesting and the payoff is a chance to take a photo to show back home that will make them want to come to Seville.

A really good and ingenious way of seing Seville. The guide was really knowledgable and friendly and access to the camera was by lift or stairs, which was good. Stunning views not just by the camera but from the from the balcony around the top. Well worth a visit.

We have a camera Obscura in Dumfries, but this one has guarenteed clear views with a low expectation of rain! The tower itself is a lovely structure, set in its own beautiful gardens, and even without the visit to the camera chamber , it is a good find, as they had, on the weekend we went, a bouncy castle, a... We did not go into this building as we did not have time but well worth a visit. Again built by the Muslims

It was hard to be entirely certain if the tower was open: the guide takes group up every 45 mins or so but in between times it is locked. Glad we waited 35 mins or so: the camera obscura is relatively modern and provides really excellent views of up to 10km. Very informative overview of city sights especially if new... More

First, it's worth checking the opening hours - we ended up coming back the next day, because it was closed during the afternoon - so that you don't travel up and have to wait. That said - wow! This was the most rewarding €4 we spent on our holidays. We were met at the door by a charming Sevillan, with... More

I visited there with my wife and my parents. Great experience! Despite saying he doesn't really speak English, the guide, José Angel, was brilliant! His English is perfectly understandable and he is passionate and very entertaining in his description of the city. The Camera Obscura itself, is a device, situated at the top of a tower, that purely optically, (no... More

Agree totally with the last reviewer: For €4 (adults) you are getting. Reductions for under 13's. 1. Best view of Seville from the top of the tower. (There is a lift to the last 10 steps.) 2. Interesting guide to the obscura technology. 3. A guided tour of the city via the camera obscura. The guide that runs this venue... More

Everyone comes for the cathedral and the Alcazar (and they are wonderful), but Seville has a camera obscura that almost nobody goes to see, so there is almost no wait, and the whole experience is SO worthwhile I bring EVERYONE there when they come to visit. SO unusual, and SO well presented. I forget the guide's name (I am so... More

A trip up the Torre de los Perdigones is worth it for the views over Seville alone but for just 4 euro you get to have a tour of Seville via the Camara Obscura with the guide (on the day we went at least) being able to speak reasonable English even though the tour is only in Spanish.
