Large performance hall where performances follow one another
We chose the one hour show option with friends
When we arrived we were let in 10 minutes before the end of the previous show luckily because we were able to see the finale which we didn't get at the end of ours!
We were placed on the far side of the room so not much visibility
For more than 30 minutes we attended a demonstration of male dances and it was only at the end of the performance that we were able to see a female dancer.
A little color in the dresses would have been a pleasure for the eyes and the photos
This in no way takes away from the professionalism of the dancers.

The entire room has an old-fashioned, very kitsch decoration.
After seeing several tablaos in Seville, this one bears little resemblance to flamenco. The choreography has no grace, the figures come together poorly, we did not find any dramaturgy or sensitive expressions in the dancers. On the other hand, a lot of noise! A nod to Bizet, why not...The lighting must date from the 1960s! Colors everywhere!
The meal was quite decent and the service very well organized.
Not a great evening 😞

Bonjour,
Salutations

Ole Ole Ole ! The famous three words in flamingo which is still entrenched in my mind. These three words came from a beautiful group of men and women dancing and chanting with a traditional Andalusian clothes.
I really liked the way they move their magical hands and feet and also their strong Opera voices

The theater held more than 100 people. Our dinner was very good - the show was the highlight of the evening! We enjoyed the dancers and music very much - highly recommend!

This was one of our excursion options as part of a group guided tour through Spain. So glad we did it. Part of our party opted for the show and dinner option and the other part of our party opted for the show and drinks option. For the show and drinks option you sit on chairs vs at a table if you choose dinner. I've seen flamenco shows in the US but nothing compared to this. The intensity of the dancers was incredible. The time flew by. The food was adequate, not amazing, but then again the main reason to attend is the show. Someone comes by and takes a picture which is made available for sale later, I believe it was 10 Euros. The picture is placed in a folded cardboard 'file' which includes images of prior shows plus they also give you a fan. So reasonable for the price. After the show they also make DVDs available for purchase. The stated that no recording would be allowed during the performance although we did see several people doing it. We purchased the DVD so we can remember the experience from home at a later time. We had great seats so that probably also influenced our experience.

Have just come back from flamenco. Can’t believe how fast they move their feet! The dancing and guitar were fantastic. I know nothing about flamenco but this has made me want to see more. My 12 yr old daughter started the evening “not bothered” but was tapping her feet with a big smile on her face later. I would agree with other reviews about meal. You do sit further away if you are eating. If I knew this I would have eaten somewhere else first and then paid for just the show so we could have been nearer. Thank you wonderful dancers you are all amazing!

The show was very cheesy and touristy. There was very little traditional flamenco dancing and just a lot of twirling on stage. The audience was noisy and cameras were flashing constantly. A few persons held up large Ipads or devices ti videotape and blocked our view. It was a mix of a Disney production, a Shakespeare musical, and at one point the music sounded like cartoon music. The food was mediocre.

Ok. So being from RI, post Station fire, I am probably more nervous than most. The place is packed with about 1500 people with no room to breathe, no ceiling water sprinklers, 2 exits - and about 100 lit candles. R u kidding me?!? Could not see the dancing, all I could see was hundreds of smart phones being held up in front of my vision. The sangria was awful. Overall a huge disappointment. If I was the establishment I would ban pictures and filming. Save your money.

OK, the dancing was excellent - 12 highly professional dancers with all the emotion and anguish of the Flamenco along with clever staging and presentation. The venue is approximately 15-20 minutes form the historic district by cab and caters to many large groups. Buy the drink-only ticket, which gives you better seating. Aside from the dancing, there are some significant detractors that give this show a sometimes low class and definitely touristy feel. There is no control on cameras or other electronic devices, resulting in an annoying atmosphere. The drinks were low quality. They also try to sell you overpriced photos and merchandise at your table during the show - the attendant actually climbs over seats to get to you while the dancers are performing. It was an interesting show, but if I had it to do over again, I would have chosen a smaller and more intimate venue.

Is this authentic flamenco or a theatrical show?
Written August 10, 2017
It is authentic flamenco. Highly recommended. Seville is the birth place of flamenco dance. This place is entertaining as well as affordable.
