On a late Saturday afternoon we were walking through an area which offered a few flamenco venue's. Casa de la Memoria had late show seats available and let us choose our seats since we didn't want front row. The guitarist, singer, and flamenco dancer offered an entertaining performance helped by the small setting. There might be better shows but we... More

We bought the ticket in the afternoon direct from the premisses, and to be honest I didn't expect much. On arrival in the evening we had to wait a bit, but we were early, maybe about 20 minutes in total. Once we were let in, we were the 2nd in line, we had a free choice of seats so selected... More

I'm by no means a flamenco expert, but the little I've seen had more of-the-moment feel than this show, which we chose because it was described as authentic and not packaged-for-tourists. The guitarist and singer were skillful and seemed more in the present moment than the two dancers. They were also very skillful, but seemed to lack any feeling of... More

Really has a good balance of guitar, singing and dancing. It is a fairly small venue which adds greatly to the intimacy. A wonderful way to end the day.

I had high hopes for the show based on the reviews, but it turns out to be disappointing. The guitarist didn't seem to tune the guitar properly in the beginning. The singer was more focused on volume than the tone. The dancers are the best as they were passionate but there was no elegance and the male dancer seems to... More

The dancers were very good and extremely invested in the show. I enjoyed it, but the only downside was that the music sometimes continued for a lengthy amount of time without the dancers, which became boring. Otherwise, cool show in a cool building. Not the best flamenco I have seen though.

I have been playing the flamenco guitar many years and have enjoyed this performance every time I am in Seville. There is no "dinner," typically not good food. Just flamenco. A guitarist, a singer, a dancer in a small theatre. Buy tickets in advance at the center and get there early as people queue up about an hour before. I... More

Being far from an expert in this form of art, I was in a flamenco show for the second time in my life. The show took an hour and was very intensive, duration was very good for a person not knowing much about this genre. The premise was small, intimate and so you get near the performers and feel the...
