I highly recommend you visit it! Not only a beautiful food market with charming little restaurants, but they have a cooking school. If I had known prior would have definitely partake.

Mercado de Triana is a large indoor food market where you can also get a bite to eat. It’s next to the river close to the city centre. Nice place to visit.

Indoor market in the Triana district, just across the Puente de Isabel II bridge, worth a quick visit to walk around the colourful stalls.

We were staying a few blocks away from the market and I had a cooking class in this market with Taller Anduluz de Cocina, which by the way is excellent. We were given a market tour of the different stalls and explanations on what to...More

Opening hours stated 12 - 5 on a Sunday - arrived around 12h30 and the vast majority of stalls were closed. The food looked amazing, but would like to have been when stalls were open.

Nice food available, cafe bars to stop at. Lovely Triana tile work. Worth a wander through, fairly small so won't take long.

We loved walking around and seeing everything so beautifully displayed. There is a real local flavour here and there were realtively few tourists. We had good coffee and churros at the bar in the corner - the one with bull heads on the walls. Great...More

I don't know. We were there in October. My experience in Catholic countries or cities is that Christmas is a church and family day and businesses, for the most part, aren't open.
