Had a pleasant walk round and settled for a corner restaurant. Was offered the dish of the day . Mixed fried fish. Should have gone for that. Instead chose a mediocre tuna steak. My partners squid wash good so varied experience.

As part of our wandering we stopped here mainly to use the bathrooms. The market is not that grand. There are a few eateries but we did not eat there.

Perhaps I have been to a bigger market in Barcelona so comparatively this is not that great. The produce are definitely fresh though

We popped in here to participate in a cooking class (which was excellent!) and also walked round checking out the local produce. The stall holders were super friendly and everything was delicious. It's really quiet and clean compared to most markets, really worth a visit!

There are 3 mercados in the central areas of Seville/Triana: Arenal, Triana and Feria (Alameida). This was my favorite but it was also the only one of the 3 I visited in normal market hours: morning to mid-afternoon. The others, I visited in the evening when the open stalls are most often restaurants. All 3 markets are geared toward tourists... More

It was a shame that we didn't need to buy anything here as we were staying just down the street on holidays and the local cafe's and restaurants kept us happy. You can buy beautiful olives and antipasto ingredients including Gamon, sardines, fresh fruit , cofee and wines. It all looked very appealing.

Well worth the short walk across the river to see this farmers market. There's a cafe where you can chose anything from the market and they will cook it for you! Very friendly chap too - highly recommend.
