There isn't much to see there as there are only few statues and that's it. During the night the placeis lively and there are a wide variety of restaurants around the place to choose from.

There’s very little here in the way of things to see. What you see is what you get.... literally 2 statues of Hercules. There are plenty of places to eat and drink though so a good place to go if you’re looking for a bite.......More

The Alameda is a huge open plaza lined with cafés and restaurants where you will find no end of choice. This is the place where a lot of the locals come to socialize and eat tapas. In the evening it is humming with life, children...More

Both our lovely boutique hotel and the best breakfast cafe you could imagine were on the square. At night time - all the locals of all ages hang out there-and it's PROPER Seville. Music, chat, kids playing and a nice unspoilt unpretentious feel to it....More

This is an excellent place to meet with friends or be on your own either walking, or stopping by cafes, tapas, read the newspaper, get lost and found in surrounding streets, and window shopping, have dinner. You name it. Not to be missed when in...More

Lovely plaza, many bars and restaurants with good affordable food and drinks. Mostly locals. In the hot city the spacious plaza feels nice after wandering the busy streets.

We visited during the day to see the Roman pillars, so we did not experience the "vibrant and diverse nightlife" of the plaza that the guidebooks describe. During the day, the plaza was quiet and the Roman pillars were the most notable feature. They are...More

I certainly wouldn’t visit here if I lived in Seville. We read about how great this place was. Not for me as a visitor either, unless, you have days to spare and you like kebab’s and tins of beer! Rough springs to mind! I think...More
