The tapestries on display are absolutely beautiful. And there are at least 20 huge tapestries. There is so much going on in each tapestry that you can spend ten minutes on each just going through them properly. A huge plus is that entry fee for the museum is included in the entry fee for the Cathedral

Fantastico. The taperies were astonishing. Did not know they were there, in the back of the cathedral. Have to take a peak!

The Medieval tapestry museum is housed in the Chapter House within La Seo del Salvador on Plaza La Seo. Entry to the tapestries is included in the fee to visit the Cathedral: four euros. The collection of 63 tapestries is considered of historical importance in Spain, designed and created in the 15th and 16th centuries, they are hung in three... More

Beautiful building where the tapestries are hung. Spanish and English information signs. Amazing works illustrating bible and mythology stories.

The admission to the church also allows you to view the many tapestries in the collection. It is on the upper floors but is handicap accessible. They have a worthwhile audioguide available for a nominal charge which I recommend getting. The examples are from the major centers of tapestry making, Belgium, the Netherlands, etc. They are hung as they should... More

If you visit La Seo, your ticket includes an entrance to that museum. If not in a hurry it’s worth a quick look. The tapestry is mainly Flemish from 15th and 16th century – at least that’s what I understood from descriptions which are available only in Spanish.

The tapestries are awesome and well worth taking the time to see if you visit the Church of La Seo. There are numerous rooms filled with enormous tapestries, so detailed, and quite overwhelming to think they were made without modern equipment.

Often overlooked by tourists, The Museo de Tapices de La Seo (Tapestry Museum of Zaragoza’s Cathedral) displays a wonderful collection of medieval and renaissance tapestries considered by the experts among the three best in the world (the other two being owned by he Patrimonio Nacional de España and the Royal British Crown) Only 11 pieces (out of the 63 pieces...
