This cathedral is at one end of the Plaza, the same Plaza where the Basilica. This cathedral is older than the Basilica. There are older parts and newer parts. This cathedral is very ornate inside with beautiful art and carvings and statues and domes. This is why it is a must see attraction. There are many different chapels, all with... More

No photography is allowed either here or La Pillar which is a great shame because it is spectacularly beautiful. There were also works by Goya and the most amazing sculpture on display. Very disappointing service from the closest Tourist Office who did not have the linguistic skills to advise me on the best method of travelling around the city. They... More

Roman big stones in the low part of parroquieta de la Seo, with romanic archs in the middle and mudejar brickets stravaganza, from arabian and mozarabes sculptures, give sense to the renaissance upper part of this La Seo Cathedral northern wall. Big gothic windows give ligth to the interior basilica and the whole monument shows the signatures of their 1500... More

The architecture is amazing. The small bricks used are architecture is similar to the islamic/Persian mosque design. But it has its own character. dont miss it.

Born and raised in the neighborhood, the cathedral happened to be my parish. I used to go to mass with my mother. I always looked with curiosity at the scenes depicted in the walls around the choir. It continues the same, spectacular. The feelings, art, long-standing values, desires and the collective experience of people vibrate in their highest intensity. A... More

Do not miss this church when in Zaragoza. The ticket costs 4 euros (and 3 for students)...well worth it. Watch out for opening times...when we visited...the closed at lunch time and reopened at 4pm! For a freezing cold winter day...that is a lot of waiting! When we walked in...there was beautiful background music playing that created a fab ambience. The... More

A jewel, particularly because of Mudejar architecture in some parts of the inside and a whole wall outside. The whole cathedral is also very nice to visit, with a nice hangings museum. Please check and double check timetable since they are quite restrictive and you may finish your visit to Saragossa without having visited it!

This is a really spectacular cathedral with very beautiful chapels and is well worth the admission price. Unfortunately photos are not permitted. Many different architectural styles in this cathedral which was built on the site of of the old Roman forum. Many centuries later there was a mosque there and later in the 12th century construction of the cathedral began.... More

You are able to take an audio tour of this church that provides you with a lot of interesting information. There is also a mini-museum at the rear that was included in the tour.

Lots to see inside and with the help of the very detailed handout one can embark on a journey of discovery. Some truly impressive work here! Definitely worth a visit!
