You'll find that piece of history of former Caesaraugusta - Latin name of the ancient town - right in the center, around Torre de la Zuda. Not much information available though.

Stretches of the ancient walls are to be found in various places in central Zaragoza, and they give an vivid idea of how strong the Roman settlement must have been. There's one stretch just in front of the Central Market.

The remains of the Roman Wall are a most amazing site. The wall was built between the first and third century AD. We found it marvelous to be able to see the different layers of history and construction. Well worth the visit!

Fantastic to see the walls illuminated and it seemed to bring them to life. The statues around and the tower are also well worth seeing. I enjoyed visiting the Roman Walls
