The Ebro river trip...

We have been criss-crossing the Ebro for three days down from the hills. Here it is at its majestic best and looks huge compared to the big stream up country.

Well the Ebro is only famous, because he is next to the cathedral. But the river itself is not that impressive, because he is also quite dirty. But when are on one of the bridges, which cross the river, you can take some awesome pictures of pilar. I just recomend you to cross the river for a better view of... More

Nothing particularly special, doesn't even dominate the city although there are many interesting bridges over El Ebro and a walk along the banks is as enjoyable as any other river that flows through a city.

Zaragoza is supposed to be the place where you can see better the Ebro river, besides thinking its history and pathway to sit around and take pics, its not a clean or clear river.

Take the tourist bus, a bargain at only 8 euros or concessions 4 euros. Can go around the 2 hour loop, getting on and off as many times as you wish in a 24 hour period. Did day and night, highly recommended. Cross over the river by old and modern bridges, to the expo site etc. and back again. Walking... More

We spent a pleasant hour and a half walking "between" bridges on both bans of El Ebro. Robbed of almost all of its water for all the normal uses, there is still JUST enough flow to give a hint of what a mighty river this must once have been. A bit of green and softness in Zaragoza which otherwise strikes... More

This rivers' importance is solely coming from the Basilica nearby. It is not a clean river and there is nothing spectacular about it. There are some number of bridges on it and you can take good views of the basilica on these bridges. Take a glance while passing over it.

The otherside of the Cathedral in Zaragoza and you will find the River Ebro that has produced some very big catfish in its time. There are some nice areas to walk alongside the river and it is not a clear watered River as previous reviews have suggested. It didn't smell when we had a walk by it in the hot... More

like most of rivers in the city El Ebro isn't the cleanest river and sometimes smelly. But walk or even jogging on promenade next to it on the evening can be romantic. and view on Basilica from other side its worthy to walk a bit after having tapas
