Great square, some restaurants with tables outside, it hosts a market and in a corner a big supermarket Mercadona. Two minutes walk to cathedral and Bellas Artes Museum.

very dirty, too much crowd, nothing special all in all without something important to see but maybe just for a short walk

Just wondering around and came on this area which had a mostly clothes market on. Very nice atmosphere and stall holders helpful despite communication problems. Square buildings themselves are quant and also had some nice shops in as well as cafes.

There was a great little outdoor farmers market in the plaza today (Thursday). We bought some locally grown beans and blueberries. Beautiful plaza.

This square is worth visiting if you are in the area. The square is surrounded by interesting architecture. When we visited, there was an open air market.

It was cold and rainy when my husband and I went to Plaza del Fontan for the second time. Our very first visit was in June of this year. Rain or shine, it is a very charming place to be with friends, and family.

The El Fontan market and surrounding shops sell an extraordinary array of Asturias cheeses, meats, and sweets. Primo gift territory!
