We came across the Foncalada when returning to our hotel from our evening meal in Calle Gascona. It is a spring with a protective building.

How does one rate a 12th century public work? No credit card needed to visit. Look for vestiges of early Oviedo as you wander the city.

A very old fountain that still is poring water naturally. The place is very small and besides watching small amounts of water coming out from the soil nothing else to see there.
