I have wanted to visit the Guggenheim for many years and was very excited to look around. It is an absolute masterpiece of design; elegant and grounded, sublime and incredible all at once. Its scale, form and position on the river really draw you to...More

The Guggenheim should be at the top of the list for anyone visiting Bilbao. Spend some time walking around all sides of the building, enjoying the architecture and the sculptures outside. There are lifts inside, but you’ll get a better look at the inside of...More

This was my first time to the Guggenheim and I was so impressed by the interestingly curated galleries all the way to the efficiency of the staff. The bistro is a great spot, too.

Building is quite amazing - looks like fishing boats to me but what do I know? Permanent exhibition of huge woven thing is worth visiting alone - mind blowing on the construction and arrangement of those arms. The lumps of rusty corten get some abuse...More

One of the most impressive museums in the world, and for just 10 EUR per person going here is a no brainer. The museum itself is already worth the entrance fee... Strangely enough many people still queue for a ticket while you can just buy...More

Not my cup of tea in terms of exhibits - i'd say more avant garde than modern art, however it is a really beautiful and interesting building.

You can save a whole euro booking online. I had mixed views of the pieces on view - some were excellent but I didn't really enjoy quite a lot of it.

We arrived in the morning on a weekday and did not have to wait to purchase tickets. However, if you arrive in the afternoon or on a weekend I suspect there would be a queue as it is a popular sight. I think the ticket price... More
