Lovely place to meander through the narrow streets and explore the various squares, trying out the pintxos. Pintxos are the local tapas and are an absolute must.

Stroll, look and soak up the history (and the crowds of course). It's all about timing here; early morning strolls are peaceful whilst evening strolls have a great vibe from the tide of humanity

A good place for walking tour and get the European feel. Safe at night. Accessible by metro. Good places to eat and drink. Should be part of the visit to Bilbao.

Typical old town with a maze of narrow streets. Lots of shopping, pinxos and museums and churches. Busy night and day.
