Good waves for beginners in April and not too busy at this time, so easier for beginners who aren't so great at navigating between other surfers!

This is one of the three beaches in San Sebastian. Nothing spectacular. It is a bit away so it sees less crowded.

This beach is wonderful. Good for bathing or walking the dog and excellent for surfing or bodyboarding. Long and clean promenade too.

We enjoy some games of sand volleyball with locals and also went surfing. It's less crowded than La Concha but still great views!

Can you rent a surfboard on the beach? my 14 year old would love to surf, and is it easy to get to the old part of town in San Sebastion. Where would you recommend a low cost great value, accommodation for two adults and two teenage boys.
