Just incredible white sands and long rolling in waves inviting you in! Not too crowded either but I guess that's because it's mid September. There are a couple of eateries at the top as you stroll along the promenade and you can sit outside overlooking...More

They take excellent care of this beach. The sand was virgin, ready for my little footprints. This was possibly only because it was cold and raining, despite it being August, but I found the beach to be relaxing and beautiful. Well worth spending some time...More

It's clean, relatively quite, and lacks all nonsense beside the beach! Note that many women on this beach are topless. if that kind of thing bothers you - take that into consideration. Also, lifeguards are present, but stretched really thin. Watch your kids!

It was way too chilly to even think about swimming but the beach is beautiful and well equipped. Just strolling alongside it offered great views.

Yes it will be open in fact nice to visit off season. Its a pretty large town not just a tourist place. But the weather is less predictable - oceanic influences mean wet winters and sometimes summers but its a beautiful town.

I guess the other side beach you said is zurriola. Because the other beach which is called ondarreta is connected to la concha. Zurriola beach is nice as it is famous for big great waves. You can spend an half of day... More
