Not sure when this church is open but we just stumbled across it late one morning and walked in. Lovely serene atmosphere and loads of history. Well worth a look if you are in the town.

We went at the wrong time of the day when the doors were firmly shut so we were unable to look round. Apparently it is very peaceful inside. Positioned in the middle of the town with the obligatory ale house opposite, perfect spot to include in your holiday itinary

The church is a 'must visit' site. To do this you will automarically experience the amazing sight of San Francesci Xavier. The whole village is WHITE and looks like a film set! So pristine and clean and fresh! A complete contrast to the rest of the Island of Formentera. Explore a large number of interlinking roads and avenues, with wide open spaces surrounded by numerouse shops and bars and restaurants. Two for the 'price' of one visit! A charming not to be missed church and an eye opening vista of white!…
