The cycle down is stunning, the road surface is generally good, the cycle up is hard and not for a novice without training or water and patience. The place is literally a destination and lovely one given the access seems to be via the road...More

Only really worth it if you are prepared to undertake a quite difficult trek up the gorge which most vistors don't! Spectacular - and challenging once you are away from the tourists. Take a picnic and use the facilities at the medical centre for 50...More

A lovely place to stop after a short trip from Port Soller. There are a few cafes and you can walk to the start of the Torrent de Pareis. You only need an hour here unless you decide to eat.

An unique landscape, Sa Calobra beach is very beautiful and not so easy to reach; organized tours visit this bay to see the nices views, by boat or by the road; there is a lovely little beach, but not a sandy beach; Many restaurants.

It is a glorious location and an amazing road, designed for 2 wheels, motored and not, and bus and cars just spoil it. No much place to park at the bottom either, and only what appear to be tacky restaurants in s bay that would...More

We decided on the spur of the moment , while having a fresh orange at the mountain stop stall, to take this road because it looked interesting on the postcards for sale at the stall. Hired car, left hand drive, wrong side of road !...More

You need to have nerves of steel to drive the twisty road down (how the coaches do it, I'll never know!) but it's worth it. You park up and walk the last little bit down to the bay. The views are just incredible - the...More

The views and the drive down are spectacular and worth the nerve wracking twists and turns. Do go early in the day though. We got there before the masses of coaches (and passengers) descended. We also luckily timed it right so that we left after...More

I was there in June and the road was definitely open. It's fun overtaking the cars on the way down but you have to watch out for oncoming vehicles as you climb back up. It's hard work, but the views are amazing.

The tunnels are pretty narrow so you have to be careful. There was no sign that you can't take your bike, but for sure you have to walk it, not ride on it - too many people, so little space. For me the road to Sa Calobra was... More
