the northwest coast is very steep and rocky,very few beaches only at southern end:Sant Elm,Cala Deia,Puerto de Soller and coves north:Cala Tuent,Sa Calobra and Torrent de pareis. Great walking area and protected nature.

This is the most spectacular part of the island and makes for a great drive, in either direction. The views are fantastic and there are some delightful villages en route such as Banyulbufar, Estellencs and Deia.

The stunning scenery took my breath away, Many towering peaks and sheltered bays. Caters for tourists very efficiently. People very friendly. Do not miss a chance to explore this area.

Majorca is more than sea and sand. Fabulous mountain roads, pretty villages, stunning views and breathtaking scenery. I could have toured all my holiday. Will most likely return next year and stay in this area for the duration.

Wonderful mountains and spectacular scenery. It's worth going to Soller and do have a ride on the trams and electric train through the lemon and orange groves. Magic !!

We enjoyed the swim in the sea off the boat, pity it was only 10 mins! Great views of rock formations and the high cliffs.

We visited Sollier and Port de Sollier on the north-west coast - travelled on the old wooden train and then tram down to the coast - a wonderful experience, and it was almost possible to reach out and pick the ripe lemons from the train...More
