What a wonderful surprise! And it was free to enter with a great car park.
If you get a chance to visit take my advice and go!
Super gardens, wonderful views and some great history.

A new discovery for us as regular visitors to Mallorca. Originally an Arab farmstead using water engineering to feed the crops on the estate. Eventually prosperity invested in the formal architecture. Now a state run country house with exhibitions to inform the visitor.
Raixa is owned and run by the Majorcan government and is free to enter. Check closing times as we turned up just as it closed at 3pm. We returned on another day and were not disappointed. This was once a grand home with many artworks...More
