We arrived and the person on duty did not appear to know we had booked. We were expecting a safety briefing or to be given instruction on where to go. The original booking suggested an ‘itinerary ‘ but there was none. We had to ask to have the toilets unlocked so that we could change and store our belongings in the lockers. I understand that this is off season but we had booked in advance! Lockers took a refundable €1 and there were plenty of them for our needs. And a shower for after. Once we had launched the kayaks we had a good trip, no problem there.

Just a short walk from hotel but it is at the bottom of quite a steep hill. Plenty of small shops and pharmacist also tobacco shop. Plenty of bars for drinks and meals.

rented a (no license) rib for the afternoon which was so much fun. Javi, especially super friendly and helpful. good value and great little port too, not poncy or flash like some others. had great dinner at Bruno too, and the sky bar is also worth a visit. we will be back.

If you want something different other than exploring the city, see the coastal sights by kayak. Beautiful scenery.

We visited the water sports team in June 2018 and booked on a jet ski. We arrived and booked our session but had a little time to wait so we went to get a drink. We then went back for our designated time slot and they gave some excuse that we couldn’t go out at this time as something had gone wrong with a jet ski. We had to wait another hour then come back. We went for a walk and arrived back to be told we would have to wait another 45mins...the jet ski tour was good apart from being shouted at by the instructor whilst trying to park the jet ski at the end. He said don’t steer the jet ski or apply power let you float to the jetty, I think he forgot the sea would move the jet ski as he kept shouting stop moving the handles...
Anyway we re visited the same place today 25th September to book a jet ski. We arrived at 10.30 and was told there was no hour slots till 2.30. We then walked away and 15 mins later went back to the desk and said when could we do a 30 min slot? The lady at the desk said 12.30. There is a restaurant on the port we went and sat in and had some breakfast whilst we waited...we went back to the desk at 12.20. The same women on reception looked at her screen and went ‘ohhh’ we knew then there was a problem. She then made a Spanish phone call and then told us that we would have to come back at 2.30 as there was a problem. We said you told us 12.30??? We had waited around 2 hours from getting here never mind to wait even longer...there was a boat with people that had just gone out and we asked how long they would be? She said 30 mins. So we asked could we not go out when they get back? She said she would have to see, but she wasn’t bothered, or interested in our money or booking. We ended up walking away and not doing the tour. We would advise unless you want to be strung along all day, wasting time then avoid this company at Calanova port!!

My family and I came to Mallorca for a few days and have been blown away by Port Calanova’s sailboat rental facility. Beautiful, clean, modern, up-to-date facilities and equipments. Friendly staff and even friendly rates. We’ll be back!

Was looking forward to seeing the new sky lounge at Port Calanova.
Pulled up a seat and waited to get served. I was in no rush but no one came to serve me so after 10 mins I went up to the bar. Now I understand the two staff were busy but they did not even recognise I was even standing in front of them - not a word or eye contact. I was just faced with returning to my table collecting my thing and leaving. I only wanted a beer!
