Wonderful nature!

Here you can see breathtaking views over mountains and valleys. You can wander in the mysterious forest of laurel trees all covered by mosses and lichens due to the moist climate.'

The paths and trails are well marked and the scenery looks like a fairy tale. It's worth a day trip from Teneriffa and takes only 70 minutes by Fred Olsen Ferry (watch out for dolphins the frist 20 minutes leaving Los Cristianos Port)

The forest is like you can imagine un untouched, original forest from the dawn of time. There are well-marked trails, fantastic scenery and viewpoints. Available from several starting points via bus or car. Bring warmer clothes than you need down at the coastline.

We did the island tour. No cloud so wonderful. Must watch weather though as not good if cloudy. Scenery is stunning. The roads a bit scary though. Will do this again when we go next year.

We sweat a lot during the hiking in the Garajonay National park but it was more than worth it. If you like hiking then you definitely need to check out the national park!!

Collected at 8.00am for a 9.00am ferry from Los Cristianos to the delightful island of La Gomera. Expertly looked after by our tour guide for the day - Oliver. He must be hoarse by the end of the day as all his commentaries are delivered in Spanish, English, French and German! The only real way to see the island and... More

We stayed at the village Las Hayas, and took the car to the treck of Cerdo village which is located in the Garajonay park. The start point is El Contadero close to Pajarito. Beutifull view and a pleasunt way. It took us 5.4 km to get there- 2 hr, and 2 hr back.
