On a clear day this is a great trip. Excellent views, and good roads. Bring warm clothing! Allow plenty of time, and if you can, bring your own picnic.

Must see if you visit La Palma. Views are wonderful, the drive across, either way is stunningly beautiful. A must see experience on the Island.

Amazing views of night sky - probably best you get within 4hr flight from Europe. Speak to local government for permit to use/visit telescopes. This is truly... More

The trip to the top of Roque de Los Muchachos is already great, stunning views, beautiful nature...... Getting on top, all around you impressive and massive calderas / craters and vulcanis rock, build and formed by huge forces of nature..... Watching the clouds roll over the mountains, like waterfalls....great ! If you are fortunate and skies are clear, great views... More

That's definitely one of the must on LaPalma! Get over the clouds, wait for a sunset, watch the skies with the amount of stars, you have never actually seen!
