Located 400 metres high, on the Risco de Famara, the Mirador del Río is one of César Manrique's most representative architectural creations as it shows a series of artistic and architectural details and his eagerness to combine art and nature. It is located near the remains of an ancient military base that dates back to the end of the 19th Century. It is camouflaged on the rock in a way in which only a genius of Manrique's magnitude could conceive.

This was our final stop on a tour of the North of the Island and the guide saved the best till last! The access is good and you can get up to a higher viewing platform to take super pictures. The panorama, on a good day, is breathtaking. We were lucky to have sunny, clear skies to see the place... More

Fab views and the cafe is very reasonably priced and we got sweatshirts reasonably priced from the gift shop! It's windy and we were cold. We went as part of the grand tour and would have liked a bit longer here.

Entry €9 per adult or can purchase ticket for €20 to visit 3 attractions which is what I did, I didn't think this was worth €9. Great views would be ideal for photographers. We was only there for about 20 mins, very windy and cold, I would recommend wearing trainers. There was a large cafe with a great view, selling... More

The views here are amazing for all photographers out there. It's a view and nothing else. They do have a restaurant and several seating areas. €9 entry for adults and €4.50 for children. It's best to get the combo ticket and see the caves also.

This visit was included in the tour of northern Lanzarote, and it was included in the fee, well worth the visit and the view of La Graciosa and the archipelago will remain with us for some time. Spent about 20 minutes there and saw everything.

Well worth traveling to the north of the island to see the Mirador. Fantastic view over Los Gracioca island. Quirky Cesar Manricos buildings.

Created by Caesar Manrique, this futuristic building reminds me of Fred Flintstones house. From over 470 metres above the sea, the view toward La Graciosa island is stunning. There is a nice coffee shop here and the entrance price, €4.50 (March 2016) is not expensive. We were in a rental car and drove from Puerto Del Carmen - about 50... More

It is a easy drive and walk to get to the Mirador del Rio. On a sunny day you will enjoy a great view from the restaurant inside or from the rooftop
