Caleta del Congrio Beach is located very near of Punta del Papagayo, a cape in the South of Lanzarote Island. It is a very nice sand beach, where you can see some colors of the sand due to old volcanos. The place is located close to Ajaches Natural Park, so from here you can see very good views of the sea and the mountains. Obviously, you can also come here to relax, bath or sunbath or to do hiking. Very nice.

Beautiful beach.
It is a very quiet beach, with beautiful sand, a few rocks and some volcanic features (e.g. dykes) .
The water was warmer than at papagayo, the waves were perfect and the water was easier to get into. There are little shelters in the rocks where people tend to sit.
As long as you are not offended by naked men, I would recommend this beach.

This huge expanse of soft golden sands offer plenty of space for everyone. Families, couples and singles alike, those wearing swim wear and those choosing to embrace the nudist option of which there are plenty, for those experienced sunbathers or those first timers.
This beach has no facilities such as refreshments or toilets so come prepared for that.
Shade is welcomed along the base of the cliffs and be prepared for a breeze, our little sun tent was a blessing.

As a nudist it has little or nothing, besides being very small it is invaded by the people of the campsite who go all with swimming trunks. Not recommended bif you are looking for nudity

Little frequented beach, where Lanzarote expresses its wildest side. The ochre sand interspersed with volcanic rock, the spectacle of the tides, the sound of the waves... truly an oasis of peace.

Wonderful beach, a little more isolated than Papagayo, although it is still 5 minutes away from the same car park.
Nudist beach, beautiful sand and sea.
It is very reminiscent of the endless beaches of Fuerte

Does anyone know why half this beach has disappeared since February? Had a shock when we saw the sand at the north end has shifted, leaving a long expanse of rock where a beach used to be! The south end now has sand where there used to be rocks.
