The estate and house are certainly worth a visit. The house is beautiful if challenging on stairs! The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful and it was quiet when we were there so we were able to take photos without people in them on the...More

It's a bit of a swizz linking this place to Omar Sharif on the basis that he may or may not have once glanced in its general direction. That aside though, this is undoubtedly an impressive place and a good demonstration design and nature in...More

Found this place a couple of years ago and it was time for a return visit. It's a bit "steep" for many people but if you can, do. Won in a card game by Omar Sharif ,lucky man!

I would recommend a trip here far above Cesar Manrique (not worth it at all) - such a beautiful peaceful place. Loved being able to just wander into each room and being able to take a seat and appreciate everything at our own relaxed pace....More

These stunning grounds are part of the estate belonging to Omar Sharif who reputedly lost all in a game of bridge. Not for the faint hearted as there are a lot of steps but the whole grounds are stunning , with secret little tunnels opening...More

Read mixed reviews here on trip advisor, but fancied a trip anyway since we were staying very close in Famara. I have to admit I really enjoyed the place as such, the Omar Sharif story connected to it and the whole experience. We were there...More

The restaurant is good - not “cheap” but we found very good value for money. Not really for snacks - more to take your time over good food and good wine with a great ambience.
