Magnificent home and gardens open to public (museum, bar and restaurant). Built for Omar Sharif by Jesus Soto and influenced by Cesar Manrique (responsible for almost every architectural tourist attraction on Lanzarote). One of Lanzarote's top 10 I reckon.

We visited here as part of a coach tour, the North Tour . It would have been good to have had a guide but nevertheless this is the most most incredible house I have ever seen. As a bridge player myself, but not up to...More

A wonderful hour spent looking round this spectacular building. Thoroughly enjoyed it. There are however lots of steps to get to the higher rooms so may not be suitable for everyone.

Was pleasantly surprised with our visit here. Interesting history with Omar Shariff. Loved the way the house was designed. Quirky and rambling. Nice shop and wine tasting. Well worth a visit.

This is an interesting building built into a rock face. It's very "higgldy piggldy" with lots of quirky rooms and secluded areas. It's an interesting feat of architecture, which was once owned by Omar Shariff (but not for long). It's a tranquil area, but not...More

Went on the north tour, and stopped off here. Absolutely amazing house, many wee crooks and alley ways. Great views from some of the spots. However not great for people with mobility problems.

The Lagomar Museum is not only for fans of Architecture. It is very interesting to discover how the house was built in harmony with the geographical features of the area. It is a little maze-like with beautiful views and surprising twists. Taller people might have...More
