not for swimming

it's a surf beach. Good for a walk, stunning location, but life guides will approach anyone going for a swim and strongly advise against it. Looks like a great place for a surf.

This is an impressive beach with dynamic waves. It's a surfers paradise but also adequate for a long walk along the beach. Unfortunately, there is no bar offering sea view on this spot.

How powerful can be the atlantic ocean? The answer is right on that beach, a surfer's paradise...in a sunny day is simply marvelous, it worth a visit.

Whilst staying in Costa Teguise my friend and I decided to take a bus ride to Famara. I am so glad we did. This little place was a pleasure to see. If you love water sports you would love being here. Quaint, quiet and quirky.

The local town is also worth investigating as it also has a wonderful coastline. The small town streets are always full of sand and surfers on their way to or... More

For me the best beach on Lanzarote. It's long and wide, lots of surfers, clean crisp water and a great mountain view. It really is a wild beach without any umbrellas and the works and that's the charm. Great for pictures and long walks as well as swimming. The waves are nice and good for surfing and swimming as well.... More

Great beach. Great waves for surfing as well as body boarding. Nearby village of Farmara offers restaurants / surf gear (shops) and have a little bit of a Wild West feel to it. Sunsets on the beach amazing.

It's a multiactivity place. You can chill and have a sun tan here (but usually only on non-windy days) and surf as well...

Brilliant beach great for surfing and paddle boards, the sea is quite rough at times so be careful with small children. Lots of local restaurants with great food and drinks
