The museum is located in a really beautiful mansion. It portraits the history of canary islands and tenerife in particular showcasing the lives and crafts of the canary people and the history of the house and its family.

A fascinating museum about the development of the Island. We were greeted warmly and politely offered concessions (my wife qualifies). Our attention was drawn to the free commentary on a smartphone and this was great, as it drew our attention to enough salient artefacts for...More

This museum is a collection of artifacts describing the colonizing of the island by the Spaniards and how the economy was grown over the last 500 years. If you are retired there is a discount for seniors.

We enjoyed looking at the exhibits. The staff were very friendly & proudly showed off two restored carriages. However, this is not an interactive museum, so as long as you like reading about the exhibits, but not touching, you'll be fine. I did love being...More

A very interesting small museum. The iPhone commentary adds to this. The 2 young women in reception were exceptional in their help and information. Real ambassadors for the museum and for Tenerife.
