On a island of new build hotels and ugly architecture a walk around the historic centre of San Cristobal de la Laguna is a lovely way to spend a afternoon - I recommend it heartily.

Great place to spend an afternoon in the shade with a coffee or a glass of wine. Fine and well preserved historical buildings from the time before the vulcano.

Our cruise ship stop was on a Sunday and we took a shore excursion. We saw other tours from different operators at some of our stops.
