    We loved it
Spent one day in Loco Parque after hearing so many good reviews of the place and we were not left disappointed . It's an expensive day out but you come away with so many memories that it's worth every cent. All the shows Dolphin, whale, parrot were very entertaining. The park is spotlessly clean and seems really professionally run. So much better than anywhere similar we have been before. There are so many animals to view throughout the park and they all seem really well cared for in appropriate environments. It's no surprise this place is number 1 in the world on Trip Advisor, it's definitely worth a trip.
Thank you very much for your incredible review! We are glad that you enjoyed the Loro Parque experience. Here at the park we take very seriously the welfare of the animals. The love we share for all the species that live inside our Animal Embassy is unparalleled. We can't wait for your return. Have a great day!

    Beautiful park
Last time we visited was 8 years ago when the kids were much younger, we took them back as teenagers (13,16,18) and they enjoyed just as much now as they did then. The park is clean, the animals are clearly very well looked after, the staff are knowledgeable and helpful. Great day out even if staying I'm the South of the island!!

    Wonderful experience
If you arrive before 9 am there is parking directly outside the main entrance. There are a couple of bars to have coffee while you wait for opening at 9.30 am. It is well laid out but the overwhelming number of signs seems to cause more confusion than help. We didn’t want our photos taken so that is completely unnecessary. The park is fantastic, the shows are incredible but they do get busy so plan your day around the show times. The only down side was the price of food and drink. Considering they have hundreds of visitors there is absolutely no need to charge such outrageous prices. The most outstanding feature for us was the warm, tender relationship between the animals and their keepers. Well done to all the staff.
Thank you for your feedback about your experience at Loro Parque. We are glad to hear that you enjoyed it. We appreciate your constructive feedback and will take your suggestions into consideration to improve our services and ensure an even better experience in the future. We are thankful that you enjoyed your overall visit and we look forward to welcoming you back to Loro Parque again.

Can’t Rate this Place Enough! Absolutely Amazing!
Firstly we bought a twin ticket for Siam Park & Loro Parque. Daughter is 5 & she got a free ticket but had to pay for her place on the coach. Coach picked us up from outside our hotel & the journey was one and a half hour each way - absolutely worth it. Arrived 10.30am. So upon arrival there was barely a queue so went through, got given a map of the park with show times listed & the park is so well sign posted everywhere. Although busyish this isn’t a one way Park so you get to all go your own way throughout the day, various show times available therefore there is no need for everyone to cram into the one show. We first came across the Seallion show. The Sealions seemed to be really enjoying themselves and interacting with the two men instructing the show. Nothing to pushy was done and then after it finished and people left the seating area the Sealions we’re swimming around looking happy and content noseying about. Then we went to the Orca show, we sat in the front block nearer to the water knowing we would get wet as my son wanted to sit here! We got drenched head to toe but was worth it - not many people can say they have been splashed by a killer whale so close up. The park is stunning & so thought through. There animals are scattered around the park and all have lovely home areas! As an animal lover I was worried about going and feeling upset after reading previous reviews but the animals are so looked after and all enclosures have running waterfalls & beautiful geeen areas. All the animals were worth seeing and the Aquarium was also a really enjoyable experience. Food and drink is priced as expected, to be honest nothing over the top. It’s only what Zoos’s/days out charge back in the UK. Longest we queued was just over 5 minutes the first time then after that we were just walking over to the bars for drinks & served straight away. Kids had a little play in the outdoor play area before heading back. Got the coach back to the hotel at 4:30pm & we just about saw everything minus the dolphin show & bird show. Your day is really jam packed as there is so much to see! You won’t be clock watching at all. I can not recommend this place enough.
Hello, A big thank you for giving us a perfect rating! We are pleased to hear that you enjoyed your visit to Loro Parque. The animal presentations are part of their important routine to encourage the development of their instincts and physical skills. At the same time, our work with the presentations is also to make our visitors aware of the importance of protecting the ecosystems and biodiversity of our planet. We look forward to welcoming you again soon - Happy day!

    Very enjoyable
Really enjoyed our visit here. The shows are good but be aware the talks are about conservation and the animals not getting them to perform outside of their natural abilities. No cycling parrots if this is what you are looking for. A really interesting and enjoyable day in great surroundings. Cafes are very reasonably priced and everywhere is very clean and well looked after. Some of the bird enclosures would be nicer if they were bigger such as an aviary for all of them.

It really is the best zoo in the world
It really is the best zoo in the world! We had a fantastic day, the work they do here is amazing, all the animals appear to be very well looked after and cared for. Whilst i would be the first to disagree with the dolphins and the orca, they can not be released into the wild, they simply would not survive, they do however provide education that you cannot learn from a wall poster that most would walk past and ignore. They truly are wonderful animals and they are doing a fantastic job at educating the young and the unaware!

    No.1 zoo for a reason.
Not much you can say that hasn't already been said about Loro Parque. Well worth the €42. Good selection of animals in large enclosures, Orca, dolphin, sea lion and parrot shows are probably the highlight for most and whilst having captive animals performing tricks for our entertainment has probably had its day Loro Parque does a lot more good than bad for species across the planet. Probably the one "must do" whilst in Tenerife.

    Great park
This is just about the most well known tourist attraction of the island. Also, you see advertising for this place everywhere (which is a total waste of money as far as i'm concerned, the place sells itself well enough). We are staying in the south so we drove up there in a little over an hour. And it is worth it. Atmittance fees are high but frankly worth it. The park is very well maintained, clean and very nice. Lots of good shows and animals. Pity that some animals are still housed in small and oldfashioned cages. The rest is much much better.
Hello, Thank you so much for taking the time to write a review. We appreciate it! And we are glad to hear you enjoyed your time at Loro Parque. However, concerning the cages, animals have a number of needs regarding the environment in order to survive. Wherever they find such conditions they convert this area into their home. Having a territory is not an individual desire of an animal, contrary to what happens to a human being. Animals simply need the resources of their territory to ensure their survival and reproduction; and that is why the dimensions of a territory vary within the same species. This is why in zoos, where food is provided to the animals, the areas can be much smaller without affecting the animals. I hope you understand. We hope to see you again!

    Lovely, big zoo
Huge zoo with a lot of stories how they saved some of the aninamals. Live show were amazing. The connection between the human and animal is indescribable. Buy the ticket online, you do not need wait the big queue then.

We have had the BEST DAY here today! Entry price was really reasonable and worth every penny.
All animals very well cared for. Animal shows excellent. No hard upsell for souvenir photos.
The park is immaculate. Staff work very hard here to keep areas clean.
The free Loro train around the area a lovely added bonus and definitely worth a ride.
Todays visit is a memory that will last us a lifetime- which is priceless.
Definitely recommend a visit! You won’t be disappointed.

You’re able to catch the free train/transfer but decided to walk as it was just over a mile.
The park has so many attractions for you to look at, the penguins were a fantastic habit to see.
All cages/habitats were pristine as was the park and the cages had a lot of stimulation for the animals and were adequate for the individual animals.
The shows that were put on were fantastic to see and I enjoyed the fact that the shows were educational and had a back story of the individual orcas/animals.
100% recommend going.

Considering the amount of advertising for the park it was seriously underwhelming. To be honest, not a huge selection of animals. Lots of exotic birds in what looked like tiny cages. The Orca pool didn't seem big enough at all for 1x orca nevermind 3 and to be honest (maybe it's just me) but the animals looked sad. The penguins just swam aimlessley into the glass of the enclosure. Just sad to watch.

The sealion show was great tho!

Was excited to return in many years as new exhibits had been added such as the largest coral reef outside the ocean. Was not disappointed with the vast wildlife and areas to explore learning about animals id never seen before. Truly an experience that opens your eyes on the world of animals. Unfortunately the dolphins show was closed however all other shows were entertaining. Food was reasonably priced and all the staff were super helpful. Would totally recommend if you are able to hack the 1 and 20 minute coach from costa adeje.

This review only gets two stars for the orka show. Firstly when we booked at an excursion kiosk from Costa adeje, they asked if we would like the standard bus or pay extra for the express bus, which we did. We were told they didn't pick up from our hotel which was the RIU Buenavista so would have to get a taxi to Costa adeje which was fine, so we got a taxi and arrived 20 minutes early, just incase there was traffic in the taxi, however the roads were clear. We were told it would be a 1:10 minute bus journey, the bus arrived late and then we had to make 3 more stops for pickups, so by the time we arrived at the park, it was after half 10, taking us just under two hours. The whole park was crammed full of people so you physically couldn't move past each other while trying to see the different animals and there were plenty of rude people who would just shove and push. We had food at a restaurant, where I had a stale ham and cheese baguette and my partner had nachos which were just salted Doritos with a guacamole side with no salsa or cheese, although she did have a very nice non alcoholic cocktail and the donut was fine. We left early, paid for a taxi to the local bus station and paid for a bus back to Costa adeje. Would not recommend going unless you don't mind being crammed in like sardines.

It was a really good day out, loads of animals to see. Very hot the day we went so had to keep reapplying suncream. The shows were all so good minus the dolphins, they were on for 2seconds didn’t even do any tricks and everyone left. Loads of food places to eat and stalls to visit.

It’s a long buss journey from Los Cristanos and no toilet on the buss.
