Can you imagine how people can live in flats carved into caves? It is possible to have a look at into their daily life, and perhaps buy some local honey. There is a small church and a restaurant as well with the sculpture of guanches in the front.

You will need a car to get there as it is quite remote... but worth the effort. It is a blind valley that you can walk into. (take good walking shoes) There are the old mines that were dug out to look for water and lots of old abandoned equipment. You will need and hour to walk in and the... More
