Nice relaxing place...

A nice area to take a break and watch the people passing you by, as it is on the edge of a shopping district. The Monument to the fallen heroes of Spain was very impressive.

We are staying very close by and walked few times to the plaza. This could be a beautiful spot to sit down but it is very dirty. Easy to fix.

It's all happening here and you can find it all here- from eats to cheap shopping to more expensive shops. Has a nice view of the harbor, too. Sit by the pond and soak in the atmosphere of this beautiful city. great for the kids.

Adminal Horatio Nelson was so seriously wounded in the battle at Santa Cruz de Tenerife in 1797 in an unsuccessful attempt to conquer the city that he lost his right arm. Remember him and other heroes!

On the town side is Cafe Atlantico, one of the oldest cafes in town. Right near the reconstructed harbour gate, it has its original bar and tiling. There is the old minstrels gallery above your head. There was an old waiter that used to stand by the door in a red DJ with a cloth over his arm directing the... More

A lovely square and park, worth a visit if you are in the area, but probably not worth travelling too, not far from the Royal Palace.

We went there off-season and found the town deserted. Plaza de Espana was the nicest place to sit and relax. It was calm, rather warm and clean while offering some rather decent views. I have an impression though that I would not like to dine/stay there during the high season.

went here several time during our holiday in Tenerife .Quite central location, there is car park just underneath this place in case you hire a car. there are plenty of restaurant or café to choose around this place. nice place to spend the evening before dinner time.
