The market is a beautiful, colorful place to visit, and have any meal of the day at the different food stands they have. All kinds of food you can find plus of course everything’s fresh!

Great market to look around. Especially the fish market downstairs. But the best bit is the number of small tapas bars around the outside of the market. We recommend Bodega de Manel where we were served small tapas with each drink of crisp cold white...More

This is a market which is well geared towards tourists and lost its local flavor (if it ever had any). The building itself is quite interesting, but the market stands are nothing special.

Interesting market with lots of individual shops selling everything from incense to fresh fish. Small cafe in the middle.

Since my last visit one year previously there are many more places to eat the local produce that has always been available for sale. This applies especially to the fish market downstairs ( closed in the afternoons) where one can try all the different types...More

Very pretty market that fortunately is still widely used by locals. Didn't see much tourist shops inside, which was a nice surprise. There was clearly some good deals there for local fresh products as some stores even had queues (fruit stores, cheese stores, butcher shops,...More

We arrived around 12.45, and most of the stalls were already closed. However, we saw some interesting-looking fruit .

a great traditional market, you can smell incredible tastes of spices, fruits and vegetables almost everywhere. A bit crowded but that's an amazing place

This is a really good local market which is also a fascinating visit for tourists to see local produce and sellers. I wish I lived nearby! It has stalls selling meat and fish, charcuterie products, cheese, fruit and vegetables and pasta as well as snacks...More

Santa Cruz is the other side of the island from Puerto de la Cruz, so you would need to go by car or by bus. At least an hour's travel but suggest you check a map and bus timetable (horario).
