This fully-ecological park is wonderful must-see for nature-lovers and is easily accessible from the hop-on-hop-off bus route. To access the cliff-top gardens there is a choice of a lift or taking the long, gently-uphill footpath. The trees are grouped into geographic regions.Look out for the...More

a very pleasant time to be had wandering around the paths in the Palmetum. So many different plants to see, lovely peaceful atmosphere with birds singing. A terrific project to turn this waste ground into a beautiful garden. well worth the entry fee.

It’s worth a visit even if it’s to get the stunning views of the city and surrounding areas. The garden is split into continental regions but with a significant contribution from Cuba. Although you walk uphill the layout is such that you don’t feel the...More

This garden is a real oasis which we were surprised to find out is built in top of a bona fide pile of old 70s rubbish. Well, what was presumably a load of old findus crispy pancake and vienetta wrappers has been turned into a...More

The park boasts the biggest collection of palm trees and did not disappoint. We probably spend an hour looking at all the different plants and trees, enjoyed the views of the city and the ocean, and had fun. The exhibition by the main entrance/ticket office...More

Hi. We stayed in Costa Adeje, and buses to Santa Cruz are easy.Takes about an hour and cheap enough. Once you get to Santa Cruz terminal, it's 10 minutes walk along the seafront. Enjoy.
