nice area to sit and have a drink and something to eat, we have had breakfast there in the past and really enjoyed it. Having said this, the recent evening meal we had here was not so good, the service was really slow because it...More

Whilst not as stunning as many Spanish cathedrals from the exterior and also not as lavishly decorated, Cathedral Santander is an understated gem and its cloisters are absolutely lovely. Certainly well worth a visit.

Very friendly reception. Very friendly people inside. A local woman explained us the history of the cathedral. But in Spain you will find cathedrals that are more spectacular, impressive. The courtyard was nice, but again, nothing spectacular.
