La Primera Playa del Sardinero is very popular amongst beachgoers during the summer time. There is a good bus service, which is recommendable if one doesn't want to go through the hassle of finding parking. There is a restaurant by the beach (Maremondo, formerly the...More

Lovely area, clean beach and water. Good place to people watch, with plenty of cafe's and restaurants. Nice promenade if you fancy a walk with some really pleasant gardens and green spaces. A pleasant surprise and a different aspect to the other side of Santander.

This is a lovely beach which was very near our hotel. It had all facilities you'd expect and food is close by. On Sundays (when the tide is right) they play football on the sands. Well worth a visit for a spot of sunbathing.

A fantastic beach that runs for miles , has shallow water for kids to play, showers on the beach. Every thing for a lazy day in the sun with a bar at the back for a cold one!

Lovely beach, great views across the bay and great to follow any of the walkways above the beach. Yes, the area is packed with cafes, restaurants, bars, hotels and ice-cream parlours but they do not detract from the lovely beach

I would say 4-5 euros. And yes, there are cabs near the beach. Plenty of them by the Casino and by Feygon. There is also regular bus service.
