I think I have cathedral overload. It was no more magnificent than other cathedrals and churches all over Spain-with the exception of the gold tabernacle. I spent less than a half an hour in there. I was disappointed to see all of the small chapels behind bars.

Beautiful Cathedral. You can see what happened to the gold taken from North America in the 15th & 16th centuries. Beautifully crafted.

Don't miss this! The interior was indescribably beautiful. Pictures do not do it justice, you are allowed to take them just no flash. Take the additional tour to the bell tower, the steps are narrow, winding, AND STEEP but well worth it. Entrance is outside in the courtyard, kinda hard to find it's a locked gate and they just come... More

It is a very big wonderful Gothic style Roman Catholic Church in the beautiful old city of Toledo. If you notice carefully, you will see French Gothic style influence. The 90 meter tall bell Tower graciously added gigantic look of the Cathedral. If you are in Toledo you can't miss to visit this superb Church

We just visited the huge cathedral in Toledo. It was well worth the 10 euro admission, because they give you a free audio guide. Saw some amazing works of art. We were there a couple of hours.

You purchase your entrance tickets from the Cathedral shop across the street. The price is 20 Euro her person and they supply you with a audio for your tour. The Cathedral is gigantic and lots of art work are presented.

Another amazing church in Spain with a rich history of interesting renovations/additions over the centuries. You'll definitely want to climb the bell tower if you can take the steep, narrow climb. At busy times, the line for the tower would be long, because it's such a narrow passage to get to it, so try to get there the very first... More
