This is another great cultural site that mixes different faiths and is uniquely Toledo. This is a former Mosque that was turned to a church after the victorious King Alfonso's horse lay down in the street upon entering the old city when light reflected off...More

Very small, basically, you can see everything from outside, except of interior of the church, which is very tiny and not very interesting. All your visit wouldn't be more than 10 minutes. For the same price there are plenty of other places to visit in...More

This small former mosque dates back 1000 years and was converted to a Christian church when the Muslims were driven from the city.

This tiny little mosque is rich in history and architecture. We loved being able to see the differing styles from Catholic Spain. It is a very quick stop.

Located next to Puerta de Valmardon, the original mosque was a small building divided into nine squares by three rows of pillars horseshoe arches in each direction. The pillars are topped by horseshoe arches and each of the nine squares is vaulted by a uniquely...More

The Mosque is very small but packed with history. It is one of the oldest structures in Toledo and one can see the roman city ruins underneath. The Mosque was turned into a church later in its history. It is important to see the history...More
