The Casa del Cordon is the most important piece of civil architecture of Burgos. It was constructed in the 15th century and its creator was Simon de Colonia. This is one of the most important buildings in the city.

An exciting place for a pitstop with plenty on offer for shopping, eating or just people watching. Clever use of marble benches allow weary travellers to stop for a while while you choose your eating place.

One of the most beautiful buildings I have seen . The only pitty is that a Bank is inside like a parasit. Historical moments happened here long time ago that will not be forgotten.

Be sure and wall around the entire building, also if you are lucky there will be an art exhibit inside, so open later hours to see the inside courtyard. Otherwise you must be there at the normal hours that it is open, free to enter.
