Very Interesting!

Lots of Art Nouveau at this museum! Most pieces of ceramic, glass and artwork were from 1900 - 1930. A great place to get a feeling of how life was in the "belle epoch".

A must visit while you are in Salamanca and once you have been " Cathedraled Out " it's nice to see something beautiful but also not as old. The stained glass ceiling is especially stunning.

I can't say enough about how amazing this building looks from the exterior - the river side looks like a mass of art nouveau glass holding the building up from a tumble down the hill. The front is a lovely small court behind wrought iron gates - and the entry is through a magnificent pair of doors but. I had... More

The quality and content are surperb and a must visit for Art Deco lovers. It's a shame that book of the display is so expensive as the rest of the shops material is poor considering the content.

I recommend going on Thursdays before 2 because it is free! The museum is okay but I like it for the building itself. You can't take pictures inside so take a moment to take some mental pictures. My favorite part is enjoying a café con leche in the café in the back with the stained glass windows! Also a great... More

The gorgeous statuettes of the dancing girls are a highlight of this museum as are the stained glass windows. The museum contains a cafe with views of Salamanca. This place is a real contrast to all of the other top attractions in town and worth a look inside and outside. Make sure you see the outside of the building at... More

This is an extraordinary collection of Art Nouveau and Art Deco, housed in an amazing building – the glass ceiling alone would be worth the visit. It's not immediately easy to find, and the opening hours caught us out as it was the last day of March. Nevertheless, we waited till we could be admitted, and were amazed by the... More
