This is a cracking little museum, mostly unvisited by tourists, set discreetly along the road not far from the Alcazar. The only downside to it, from a personal perspective, was that the introductory film was all in Spanish, with no subtitles. But, apart from that,...More

I went here as heard it was worth seeing; it covers a wide range of eras and costing €1 to enter was a pleasant exception to the rule of higher-than-I'd-like admission fees for the other museums I visited in Spain. If you know a few...More

It's easily overshadowed by the main sites Segovia has but the museum is certainly worth a visit. It has a good range of exhibits, from pre-Roman through to the modern day, it's tidy and the organisation of the artefacts makes sense. It's cheap too (2...More

I came mostly for the collection of Roman artifacts, and I wasn't disappointed. It's not an exceptionally large collection and doesn't have the big, flashy pieces (mosaics, large statuary) that usually have a broader appeal, but it does have some really interesting things. There's some...More

A wonderfully laid out modern museum in a historic Old building. Leads you through the whole history of the region in fascinating displays, videos and art works. Well worth an afternoon.

A nice collection of artifacts from Pre-History to 18th Cent. Well presented and modern lay out. Key sign boards are in English as well as in Spanish. Well worth the small entry fee.

It's a modern museum - well set-out and some interesting artefacts. we were the only visitors, so got the benefit of being followed by the two armed guards and the "plainclothes" floorwalker

Only 1€ to enter, much bigger than it first looks. Lots of Roman artifacts and older finds. Loved the animation showing how the aqueduct was built. The confiscated church artifacts and more modern art was a bonus.

This is a really nice museum and visited, with a solid collection of Roman artifacts as well as some great artwork. My favorite parts of the museum however, were the exhibitions on the production wool and the milling of wheat in the Segovia area In...More
