We were recommended by our English hosts that we should check out Vall Fosca National Park if we had time. We were here in 2009, seeing some other reviews reminded me of the visit. We made the cable car with literally a minute to spare, they told us to run, too funny! a warning to other Ozzies, driving in the Pyrenees takes longer than you expect with those winding roads! We spent a couple of hours trekking at the top which was stunning. There are limited cable car time slots dependent on the season, we elected to get the one around 1 pm so make sure you plan on the day or it's along walk back to the car park!
From memory there were multi day hike options, we checked out one of the huts which looked comfortable. We had a drink in the cafe at the top before getting the cable car back. It was worth the effort.
There was no park fee, only the cable car fee.

ascend through avalanche of magenta flowering azaleas to desolate, rock-strewn landscape with scattered lakes....

Defiantly worth a visit. The place is very impressive, we also enjoyed the access road to the attraction as well.

Hay alguna alternativa para llegar al mismo sitio donde te deja el teleférico andando? Lo pregunto porque vamos con un perro y tenemos entendido que no podremos subir con él.
Gracias
