Welcome to the oldest Segway Tour in Spain. We have eleven years of experience and thousands of happy customers.

The tours are about three hours long, and we will have time to glide through the little streets of the Gothic Quarter and the Roman part of the city, where we will learn about the history of the city. From there we will go to the statue of Columbus and the old harbour. We will also visit the Barceloneta to have a taste of the sea and glide all the way down to the olympic harbour, the olympic village. From there we will return going through the park of the Ciutadella and we will be amazed by one of Gaudi's earliest works..

What a fun and exciting way to explore Barcelona! Our family absolutely loved our Segway tour with Edgar! He is such a charismatic, enthusiastic guide who taught us a tremendous amount about the city! We were able to get a wonderful overview of Barcelona with a tour of the port, the beach promenade, beautiful parks, avenues, and monuments! We had... More

Our Segway tour with Edgar from Barcelonasegwayglides.com was fantastic. It was fun for the kids with a lot of history and beautiful sights. He gave us wonderful restaurant recommendations, where the locals eat. I would highly recommend him and a Segway tour!

I don't even know where to start with this review, I have so much to say! I'm a bit of a regular to Barcelona but I usually come with my friend and we do a lot of wandering and coffee drinking in with our sightseeing, but for my husband's first trip I wanted to do something different, so I booked... My wife, Ruth, and I run a Segway tour business in Burlington, Vermont (USA). When we travel we always set up a Segway tour of each city we visit because you can always see 5 times as much of each city on a Segway as you could on foot. And you get a personal guide that is a local and... More

Edgar was a great guide, he worked out his audience well, and tailored the trip to exactly what we wanted (interesting but not too much of the boring detail like on some other fact finding tour). We've done Segway tours before in Rome, and therefore Edgar had a lot to love up to, but he did in abundance. His guidance... More

We had a fabulous tour with Edgar around the City, he is a very knowledgeable guide, very personable and very friendly. He took us to all the main points of Barcelona and more, some the places we wouldn't have visited unless we had done the Segway Tour. He had bought a new polaroid camera to try out which he bought... Edgar has a huge knowledge of Barcelona, but also has a great way with people and businesses around him, meaning he chats and interacts with other locals which helps you feel welcomed to what is a really cool city. Great tips on places to go and eat - both in the vicinity of the tour, but also near where we... More

Hi David, Edgar here :) thanks for the great review! It was certainly an interesting morning, but you should not take merit from yourself. I did not do this on my own :) You jumped on the guy at the same time if not before me :). Thanks for your help! Edgar More

Neighbourhood Profile
Barrio Gotico (Barri Gotic)
With its iconic, old-Europe streets and alleys, this picturesque neighbourhood is the very heart of Barcelona. It blends historic artifacts from its days under Roman dominion up through the Spanish Civil War with a vibrant modern-day culture of artisan shops and authentic culinary experiences. Avid explorers will be thrilled to discover quaint terraces and plazas brought to life by the many small bars and local musicians lasting late into the night. Fashionistas will be drawn to Portal de L’Angel, which is lined with well-known brand names and smaller boutique stands.
