I loved the architecture but is overcrowded, you have to book your ticket earlier, if you want to go up in the tower with the lift notice that you have to take the stairs down. Its about 400 steps, and they told us last minute....More

We went with a tour and the guide made a point of tell our group that once you leave to enter the gift shop there wasn't a reentry back into the Basilica. Though we all like to export on our own, the guide's advise was well worth the price of the tour.
