The interior is surreal

We went for an evening flamenco show, which was a great way to experience the venue. The interior is spectacular, much to see.

The pictures cannot do this building justice, it is a must see attraction that takes your breath away. The tour is well worth booking and they offer tours in many languages that really give you an insight into the music hall and it's history.

The tour was very good. Don't forget to asked for a senior discount. We watched a video about the history of the Palau de la Musica and was able to watch flamenco dancers rehearsing inside. The ceiling stained glass is beautiful.

My sister and I loved this theatre! It is filled with light and grace, and our lovely tour guide opened our eyes to its unique history and the joy of all who have performed or visited. An architectural gem!

Beautiful building that is full of colour and light. Take a guided tour for the history and so that you get to hear a piece of music bellow out from the amazing organ. Next time we are in Bareclona we are going to book a concert.

We attended a concert there mostly to be able to pend some time with the interior. Another stunning example of Catalan Modernist architecture and design, AND the acoustics for symphonies by Beethoven and Mahler were perfect!

This place is amazing - you must go see it - either take the tour or get tickets to a concert. The building was designed by Domenich i Montaner - and it is incomparable. We were lucky enough to get tickets for a concert, and were enthralled by the music as well as the surroundings. Don't miss it!

This is a jewel of a theatre - you will not have seen its like before. It is best seen "in action". We saw a terrific guitar and flamenco concert. Unforgettable experience.

This is a really beautiful building and the guided tour, although quite crowded, is worth the money. I enjoyed every minute spent in this architectural jewel of Barcelona and I only regret that I don't have time to attend a concert in this great place.

A short walk from our Hotel the Avenida Palace, the inside of this building is spectacularly beautiful. We joined a group tour ( I think the only way to see it if you do not attend a performance) with an English speaking guide and were captivated .It is every bit as impressive as the Sagrada though not as "off the... Staying in El Born / La Ribera

Neighbourhood Profile
El Born / La Ribera
The labyrinth that is El Born becomes most apparent the moment you turn down one of its side streets. But this is one of the few labyrinths you might actually enjoy losing your way in. After all, there are few places that live and breathe such exciting energy regardless of the time of day. This neighbourhood seamlessly transcends the old and new parts of the city, reflected in its vast array of restaurants ranging from fancy Michelin-star establishments to trendy fusion restaurants. Here you'll find historical and cultural attractions such as the popular Picasso Museum and the Gothic cathedral La Santa Maria del Mar, where you just might be able to catch a traditional Catalan wedding.
