You can only go round in a tour, we went in at 15.30 for the 16.00 English speaking tour (English tours on the hour) but it was fully booked so we bought tickets for the next one at 17.00. The tour lasts 50 mins. You...More

This building is spectacular! We took the english-language tour which was very interesting and well-done. No trip to Barcelona is complete without seeing this building on the inside. Very nice gift shop and cafe as well.

This might be the most gorgeous theater we have ever been in. If you cannot book a tour , book a performance.

The Palau is truly beautiful and the acoustics for the guitar music were amazing. All seats look to be good so don't feel you have to pay for premium. We were lucky to see a special gala the weekend of the Le Merce festival. Highly...More

You can combine it with a visit to Las Ramblas as it is located nearby at around 15 minute walk from part of Las Ramblas near the Plaça de Catalunya. It is not as popular as other major tourist sights so online booking in advance...More

Take the guided tour. Better yet, buy tickets to a concert and take in the brilliance of this event space.

That was the advice I received and it was excellent . Another Gaudí treasure to appreciate. We attended an amazing Flamenco show that lasted 90 minutes. It was a great show and a beautiful venue. If you go it is well worth the extra money...More

We didn't have time to join the tour during the day, so decided to buy an inexpensive ticket for the night performance. The concert was very fun by itself, but we didn't get to appreciate the beauty of this hall fully. I believe during the...More

The labyrinth that is El Born becomes most apparent
the moment you turn down one of its side streets. But
this is one of the few labyrinths you might actually
enjoy losing your way in. After all, there are few
places that live and breathe such exciting energy
regardless of the time of day. This neighbourhood
seamlessly transcends the old and new parts of the
city, reflected in its vast array of restaurants

Depends on the show; for flamenco may be exactly what you need. A large-scale performance is better viewed from the balcony, IMHO. And the acoustics is OK everywhere.

The first rows of seats are the BEST, of course. But you could hear so well the music anywhere inside the Palau.
