Walking tours are simply the best way to get to know a city and even better when its linked with food, drink and maybe a wee bit of shopping. Its how you get the feel, find the cool places, the best bars and restaurants. Its even better when you have someone as vivacious, passionate and engaging as Niki taking you... More

I came to Barcelona looking for inspiration in terms of shopping, style, workshops and ateliers. Lisa was an amazing guide and showed me her off-the-tourist-trail perspectives of the city. I highly recommend the tours offered by "Antiques and Boutiques"! It is great fun and pure inspiration!

I booked a shopping excursion + workshop tour with Lisa based on other Trip Advisor reviews --was well worth it! I love vintage shopping and being a fashion designer, I also wanted to meet local designers and see how they actually work. Lisa made it all happen. Our tour started in a part of the city that we would have... More

It's relatively easy to find a tour which caters for architecture, art and history in the major European cities. But to find any which cater for those interested in fashion, antiques, interiors and design (most women???) is not so easy. Lisa and Nikki in Barcelona do it perfectly. From the outset communication was quick and efficient. These tours are not... More

Milos, an architecture student in Barcelona showed us around for the first 3 hours we were in Barcelona. He oriented us, pointed out many outstanding buildings and their background. It added a whole dimension to our visit. Milos was lovely and would have continued onward had our jet lag not kicked in. Highly recommend!

We had a fantastic trip through the arts, furniture and fashion districts of this fabulous city with Niki. From a perfect macchiato to start the walk,we really enjoyed her sense of excitement at showing off the designers and craftsmen of her adopted city Although we were not in serious acquisition mode, I felt a carefully planned trip with them would definitely... We met at our hotel to start our private tour and Nikki was pleasant, fun, informational and professional. Her tour was one of the highlights of our trip. I would 100 percent recommend her to get the inside feel of Barcelona and all her tips are fun and fab! Vivian from NYC

My sister and I went on a shopping tour with Nikki in Barcelona and had a great time. She asked us ahead of time for information about the type of clothes we like so she could tailor the tour towards our interests and price point. She was right on and showed us lots of interesting boutiques in neighborhoods we would... More

London was the second time we used Antiques and Boutiques and it was wonderful. We combed areas where many tourists don't go and saw wonderful stores and even had tea in Alice Temperley's Concept Studio. We were very successful in filling our suitcases with wonderful things, as well as shipping some ceramics home. Ariana was a delight. I can not... More

I found Antiques and Boutiques on the internet while planning a design research trip to Europe. Niki planned out our tour from my requests, and delivered a great cross section of design elements in 4 hours. Using a guide saves so much time and effort when you are new to a foreign city. We also used the company for tours... More

Neighbourhood Profile
Barrio Gotico (Barri Gotic)
With its iconic, old-Europe streets and alleys, this picturesque neighbourhood is the very heart of Barcelona. It blends historic artifacts from its days under Roman dominion up through the Spanish Civil War with a vibrant modern-day culture of artisan shops and authentic culinary experiences. Avid explorers will be thrilled to discover quaint terraces and plazas brought to life by the many small bars and local musicians lasting late into the night. Fashionistas will be drawn to Portal de L’Angel, which is lined with well-known brand names and smaller boutique stands.
